The Awarding Ceremony 

At the end of January, the list of the Laureates is compiled for publication and announced in the Khwarizmi International Award website. Applicants are kindly invited to check the site at that time of the year.

 



• Sending the completed application form implies the acceptance and readiness to participate in the awarding ceremony.
  
  
• The awarding ceremony of the Khwarizmi International Award is currently scheduled to take place in Tehran, during the first week of February in conjunction with the celebrations of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
  
• As soon as it will be made public, the time and exact date of the Awarding Ceremony will be announced officially in the website and through E-mail and fax to the Laureates.
  

• The Khwarizmi International Award is presented to the winners by his Excellency, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran
  
• The KIA Awarding Ceremony shall be attended by his Excellency, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ambassador of the Laureates’ country, eminent scientists, political and scientific personalities, International Organizations representatives,  etc.
  
• All the expenses (international travel expenses, boarding and lodging) of the Laureates only shall be kindly covered by the KIA
  

Besides the awarding ceremony

An Exhibition of the Laureates' projects shall be organized besides the awarding ceremony.

After the awarding ceremony

           Laureates are kindly invited to deliver a lecture in scientific  Institutions / Universities .
